Supporting Our Communities

Jet Park Hotels are committed to being supportive and proactive in the community, and in so doing, support community fund-raising events and charities. Here are the main charities that we support...

Supporting the SPCA

Jet Park Hotel Director, Liz Herrmann is a long-time supporter of the SPCA; "SPCA is a cause close to our hearts, and has long been the chosen charity of Jet Park Hotel Auckland Airport."  We began supporting the SPCA the same time as Jet Park Hotel's opening in 1998. The relationship has gone from strength to strength, and in 2012, Jet Park Hotel became a major 'Bed and Board' sponsor of the SPCA Auckland.  The hotel has also donated thousands of cupcakes for the annual SPCA cupcake day, it provides old newspapers for the shelter in Mangere, supports the volunteer programme, and has hosted many SPCA functions in its modern conference centre.  The hotels in Auckland and Rotorua also offer guests pet-friendly accommodation so that the “whole family can stay.” Read more >

An annual endowment of $10,000 is awarded to committed animal welfarists to fully explore their areas of interest. This may include an existing project or an opportunity to investigate, learn, network or develop leadership skills. Read more >
