Jet Park Hotel first opened its doors in June 1998 under the name “Jet Inn Hotel”. Over the years we have listened to what the people want and expanded accordingly, adding new guest rooms, restaurant spaces, a conference centre and more.

Beginning with a 90 room property then in July 2004 the addition of 45 deluxe rooms, and in August 2008 a further 45 deluxe rooms and 3 apartments were added. In June 2016, a further 60 guest rooms were added along with a 250-person conference complex sitting adjacent to the main hotel. In total, the hotel boasts 222 guest rooms.

Throughout this time the property has been under the same NZ ownership and operation - one of the major reasons it has grown from strength to strength in the quality of services and facilities it strives to provide to guests.

We have a wonderful contingent of around 120 staff– some with us for 10 years. Then, of course, there are you, our customers for whom we built this hotel! We hope that you will continue to visit us in the years to come and that this hotel, if not already, will become the place you return to time and time again during your journeys.

We aim to develop profitable and lasting relationships. We want to build on what we do well and to innovate to meet changing customer needs.

Staff

We respect the experience and skills of our staff and value the contribution that every person makes to the team. We recognised that pride and enjoyment in the job come from working in a respectful, safe, collaborative and responsive work environment. Our goal is to work together to reward, train and develop our staff in ways that acknowledge performance and individual abilities.

Community

We recognise that our actions must acknowledge our responsibilities for the well being and stability of the community, and our environment as a whole. With this in mind we will aim to support local community initiatives, and actively undertake and implement environmentally aware business systems and services.

Owners

We have a long-term responsibility to our owners to operate with care, efficiency and of prime importance, at a profit. Our objective is to earn the profits needed to provide a consistent increase in the value of the business, a good return on investment for the owners, and to finance the ongoing development and growth of our business.
