Swimming Pool

Our Tepid pool is set into a lush tropical palm garden and is open from 7am to 10:30pm offering a relaxing area to sit back and unwind after a stressful business day or somewhere to enjoy the start or end of your holidays. We have a poolside menu available where you can sample selections from our snack menu. Of course an extensive beverage list is on offer along with a great selection of cocktails, soft drinks and superb coffees. Should you wish to enjoy a tranquil walk, why not take a stroll around our purposely planted gardens which have some beautiful specimens of native NZ flora…. you’ll feel right at home.

Gymnasium and Fitness Club

All of our guests have free access to a fully equipped Gym and Fitness Club. The “Flying Fit Health Club” is located a mere 5 minutes away and return transfers are supplied. For a convenient time to visit please consult with our concierge team.

Gift Shop

We have an interesting and intriguing gift shop located in the hotel lobby. Featuring a selection both local and international artefacts, jewellery and art. There is also a limited selection of personal care and pharmacy items available at reception.

Artwork

Jet Park Hotel has become quite a talking point

with our original works from New Zealand artists Rex Homan, Peter Barker and our very own in-house artist Sonja Herrmann. Guests will see examples of these works throughout the hotel. Maybe the most famous of all, which can’t be missed is our “Fish Wall” situated in the Reception / Lobby area.

Guests are more than welcome to take a stroll through the public areas and will soon notice how we have managed to showcase various aspects of both our New Zealand and African influences. Should guests want a little more of the African experience, original works can be found in the Overnighter and Premier Rooms, or whilst perusing our corridors, gift shop and Lounge Bar

Things to do / Area Activities

The old analogy of an Airport Hotel having nothing to do has been rewritten. For those guests who would like to be a little more active and for those who would like to experience what the area has to offer our concierge team is always able and willing to assist. Guest Laundry

A guest laundry is located on the 1st floor and has coin operated washing machines and dryers, as well as iron & board. If you prefer a full dry cleaning and laundry service is avaiable and can be arranged with housekeeping.
