 Over 25 years in hospitality has seen Arun meeting some very famous people — Bill Clinton, Rod Stewart, Rachel Hunter and Rickey Martin, to name a few — and working in wonderful destinations around the South Pacific.
Yet he still gets his greatest thrills from meeting, and helping, ordinary people.
Born, bred and educated in Fiji, Arun started work in a local Five Star hotel while still a student (he holds a Diploma in Hotel Keeping and Management). ‘Its all gone forward from there’, he says.
Of Jet Park, Arun talks of providing a ‘home away from home’ for his welcome guests and providing them with an ‘unforgettable experience.’ It’s a recurring theme among Jet Park staff.
Personally, nothing beats time with his own family, and enjoying a cold beer with a hot curry!
Where would Arun select to holiday? Dubai, where else? It’s ‘what the world is about’, he says. ‘A modern, man-made world.’
