 Ron's career in Hospitality began 17 years ago; in fact Ron has rubbed shoulders with International dignatories such as Madilene Albright and Zara Phillips. Working at International events such as CHOGM has given Ron a great understanding of the logistics involved in Food and Beverage Management.
However it was earnest beginnings that saw Ron get into hospitality - he began working to earn extra cash while saving for his first house and became a barman at the Ellerslie Racecourse. NOW, Ron will admit that he enjoys food and beverage in both his professional and personal life, and meeting people from around the world who share his enthusiasm for Food and Beverage. Asked what he wants guests to most know about the Hotel he says: "That it is a not just a place to come and stay, but to experience world class service".
Any relaxing time is spent with his family, pottering around his gardens and creating culinary experiences with fresh food locally grown. An ideal holiday destination would be Rarotonga (I concur!). |
