Chef Nancye Pirini has joined the Jet Park Hotel family again, and this time as our Executive Chef. After beginning her career as a junior chef at Centra Auckland Airport, and later working for us as a Chef de Partie, and most recently 5 years working alongside Peter Gordon at Sky City Grand Hotels Dine by Peter Gordon restaurant as Sous Chef, Nancye has returned to us taking on the top job in our kitchen. Nancye grew up in South Auckland and lives in Otara with her husband she calls “her rock” and is mum to five children.
Nancye thrives on the challenges Jet Park brings but gets a huge amount of satisfaction from seeing her team of chefs excel at what they do and seeing the delight when the meal is presented to the guests. She is a very passionate chef who is very keen to develop the skills of her current kitchen team to make them the best chefs they can be.
Nancye leads a very busy lifestyle but family comes first for her, she loves spending anytime she can with her family. Her favorite holiday destinations in Australia are Perth and Brisbane and New Zealand’s best kept secret…Te Kaha on the East Coast.
